Camp Sonrise has a scholarship program in place for low income households. If you are interested in this program, please send us an email at email@example.com or just fill out the contact form on the right side of this page.
At Camp Sonrise, we are committed to hiring staff that not only provide a safe environment for your children, but also an enriching one. Our hope is that the Christian values taught and displayed by our staff will make a positive difference in the lives of our campers, and that each and every camper will view the Camp Sonrise staff as mentors and friends. In addition to our day camp training program, each of our staff members undergoes an extensive application process that includes government background checks. Our staff to camper ratio at Camp Sonrise is at least 1 to 5 for campers ages 5 and 6, and 1 to 10 for ages 7 to 12.
Joyce Malin, Program Director, is a veteran art teacher for the Nashoba Regional School District. She is a Sabbath School teacher, mother of three sons, and has been leading out with Pathfinders (similar to Scouts) for over 20 years. She has many years of experience integrating and coordinating curriculum and plans a fun and varied experience for each week.
Brett Gustafson, Assistant Director, Brett Gustafson will be a junior pre-seminary major next fall. He has worked as a counselor for Camp Sonrise since 2008, and will continue to serve as the assistant director this year. His passion for God, in conjunction with his charismatic leadership and love of children, make him a willing and well-qualified member of our team. Brett will also serve as our worship coordinator, leading morning meetings with his guitar.
This camp complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and must be licensed by the local board of health.Comments (0)
